Intellectual property rights are being threatened daily with the pervasive digital environment and associated technologies. The Virtual world presents many real world dangers, as intellectual property lawyers are well aware. Name protection and brand protection in particular are critical to many businesses and are among the most common intellectual property issues faced by them. Businesses often don’t realise the power of a registered trade mark. My role as an intellectual property lawyer in Auckland is mainly to assist clients in relation to name protection, including trade marks, and in relation to some copyright issues. Much of the work that I do in relation to intellectual property lawyer is as a trade mark lawyer.

- Confidentiality Agreements (NDAs).
- Licences of Intellectual Property including trade mark licences and patent licences.
